Board

The Board of Directors is responsible for providing the main guidelines to internationally address the sustainable tourism agenda. It is composed of five members, so the President represents the Board. The Board also monitors the implementation of the institutional work plan. For the period 2017-2018 the Board of Directors is formed by five members: Nils Viking, Owen Maparo, Ricardo Castro, Christian Schneider and Vladimir Arana.

Tourism Certification International (TCI) has its International Secretariat in Montreal, Canada, as well as regional representatives in several countries. The International Secretariat is managed by the Executive Committee (ExCo). With the Executive Manager’s leadership, the Secretariat coordinates and supports the international consortium called Tourism Certification International (TCI) and represents it internationally, while at the same time leads the institutional global advocacy.
